I just got my hands on one of our new subscriptions in the Lincoln Library. It is "Faces" published by Cobblestone. I LOVE it! It is a magazine that "takes" you someplace around the world and you get to learn about a new culture. The magazine shares people, places, and recipes of that culture. The Sept., 2012 issue traveled me to Vietnam. There was a map of the country and then I learned some of the Vietnamese history and I especially loved reading about the holiday, Tet, the Vietnamese New Year. You need to check out this magazine!
